Sean McPhillips

Sean McPhillips leads environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and reporting at Asana. At Asana he spearheaded the company’s first greenhouse gas inventory, implemented 100% renewable electricity and carbon neutrality programs, and worked to create the company’s first supplier code of conduct. Prior to joining Asana, Sean advised corporate leaders on ESG strategy and disclosure as a consultant. He has been published in the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and in ISS Insights.

Sean’s mission is to maximize both sustainable business growth and environmental and social well-being.

In his off time Sean enjoys cooking and exploring the outdoors with his chocolate labrador mix, Mako.
