Title: PhD Candidate and Science Advisor
I'm completing my Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, working with Prof. Jen Wilcox and Prof. Peter Psarras. My work explores the process engineering, techno economics, life cycle assessment, public policy, and social impact of carbon mineralization in industrial waste and concrete.
Outside of my PhD, I work as a science advisor for Carbon Direct. As a science advisor, I help scale carbon management by using science based approaches to measuring emissions and addressing them with carbon reductions and negative emissions technologies.
In addition to my academic and advisory roles, I volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America and Skype a Scientist to speak to K-12 groups looking to learn more about climate science and engineering.
